SunQuest Cruises is beginning the harvest season with a rustic-themed wine maker’s dinner cruise featuring Michael DeLoach of Hook & Ladder Winery in Sonoma, California.

While fighting fires and rescuing San Franciscans for 16 years, Cecil De Loch was also helping establish the Russian River Valley as one of California’s most famed grape growing regions. The name of his new winery is a tribute to his days on the engine and a showcase for the 400 acres of Russian River Valley vineyards he farms. A number of different quality wines are produced under the Hook & Ladder label.

Hook & Ladder is a family project with Cecil’s son Michael De Loach taking the reigns as President and Director of Sales. Michael started working in the vineyard at age 11 and in the cellar at 15. Michael hosts “Wine Country Live”, a live nationally syndicated radio show and has been featured in prominent media outlets to include Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the LA times and more.

We are honored to have Michael De Loach joining us on Wednesday, November 6th from 7 – 10 pm for an Autumn Harvest Dinner Cruise. Guests will start on the open air, sky deck with passed hors d’oeurves (from barbeque Gulf shrimp to bacon stuffed mushroom caps) while mingling with Michael and enjoying a Cabernet blend. The culinary delights continue throughout the night with four additional courses paired with exquisite wines.

The cost for the 3-hour cruise, dinner, wines & entertainment is $95/guest. Seating is limited to 75 guests and reservations can only be made by calling 850.650.2519.
