Destin Weddings on SOLARIS Yacht – Seth + Rachel

Destin Weddings on the SOLARIS Yacht Sandestin – Celebrating Seth & Rachel

Congratulations to Seth and Rachel on their Florida destination wedding on the SOLARIS yacht venue with a fun group of friends and family. The day began at sunrise with Destin beach wedding pictures, where some of Rachel’s bridesmaids experienced the Gulf of Mexico for the first time.

As Rachel got ready with her bridesmaids on-board the yacht’s private bridal suite, the SOLARIS cruised out into the open waters on an absolutely beautiful day for a Destin wedding.

Rachel stunned in a strapless, full length, mermaid-style beaded wedding gown while her bridesmaids wore full length, strapless navy blue dresses. Rachel’s bouquet featured an eclectic mix of vibrant yellow sunflowers, roses and navy blue accents.

Seth and Rachel met on the open air sky deck of the SOLARIS, with the bridal arch dawned in the same mix of flowers. Instead of a unity candle, they took part in a Blending of the Sands ceremony, a perfect complement to the nautical / beach theme for their wedding. Seth and Rachel exchanged vows and sealed it with a kiss on the sky deck as the SOLARIS sailed out into the sunset.

After wedding pictures, they went right into celebrating with a fun reception of food and music on the water. Guests indulged in chef-prepared meals and guests danced to live music. To end the night, Seth and Rachel exited under a tunnel of sparklers from guests.

Our Destin wedding planners were thrilled to partner with Destin wedding photographer,
Mari Darr-Welch who captured each moment perfectly.

Congrats again to Seth and Rachel on their amazing wedding!

Weddings in Destin Profile | Camara and Marcus

Another amazing wedding in Destin is on the horizon on the SOLARIS yacht. Congrats to Camara and Marcus who will be getting married on the SOLARIS in November.

Here’s their love story: “We met 365 days ago and within a week of meeting knew we were right for each other. Our process was quick and easy. We got engaged on Feb 27th which is also Camara’s birthday and have never separated. We were made for each other. And with God in our lives, the love and support of our friends and family, and each other we are happy and a success.”

Camara loves to play volleyball and all other sports as well as watching movies and having fun outdoors. Marcus loves fishing and anything else that involves using his hands.

For their wedding, Camara and Marcus have chosen shades of blue and a beach romance theme – a perfect compliment to the SOLARIS yacht! Their priority is for their guests to have a fun and memorable experience. The cake will pay tribute to their roots with a traditional Jamaican cake (sounds delicious!).

We can’t wait to celebrate this great couple in just a few weeks!

Destin Weddings Talk from Planners | Emergency Kit

After 10 years of planning Destin weddings, our wedding planners know that there will be last minute, not-so-planned moments on the big day. Kristi and her staff will have all hands on deck all day on your wedding day to coordinate outside vendors, decorate and assist in making your day perfect.

While we hope everything on your day is perfect, it’s better to be prepared for the before, during and after of the big day. Our Destin wedding planners will ensure that the bride and her bridal party on comfortable and prepared on the yacht’s private bridal suite.

We always recommend that the maid of honor or the mom of the bride pack a “wedding day emergency kit” to avoid any last minute panics. Some things to include in the kit include bobby pins, q-tips, hair spray, mints, deodorant, curling iron, safety pins, small sewing kit, Tide pen, mouth wash, toothbrush, mints, lotion, back up lipstick / touch up make up.

Other things no bride should go without include aspirin, band aids, white chalk to cover any smudges on your dress), eye drops, extra panty hose, clear nail polish, hem tape and scotch tape. It also couldn’t hurt to have some snacks (granola bars, etc) on hand to make sure everyone is powered up before the big moment.
